After a sad good-bye to everyone I started into new adventures to Broome.
5 days camping and driving.
We have Mark the Australian driver and the 2 french girls Laureline and Coralie.
The first day we went Katherine again, because that's the only way to Broome.
We camped in Edith Falls where I haven't been before and went for a late afternoon swim.
Because the two girls had just been to Darwin I did the Nitmiluk National Park again. But this time it wasn't 28 degrees, just 35 and we even did a shorter walk.
This time I even have this photo with me overlooking the Katherine gorge valley.
Being hot from the walk we went to the natural springs of Katherine for a swim.
The funny thing now that we are just meeting french people. In the Edith Falls was a couple swimming with us and in the springs a big group of french guys.
In the water we pretended to be crocodiles and I would say Coralie and I were pretty real!
After a whole day of driving we camped and I couldn't be bothered building up a tent and just slept under the beautiful sky full of stars.
On Wednesday we finally crossed the border to Western Australia and what I didn't know before is that you can't take veggies, fruits and honey over the border. That is because WA is the cleanest state and doesn't want to have fruit diseases and flies.
In Halls Creek we first had a critical look but then went for a swim with a lot of Goanas.
We were quite happy not to see any crocodiles though!
I wanted to have a photo with this Goana chilling in the sun.
