After another week of working in Maranatha we have 2 weeks of school holidays.
The first week I stayed with Rina at her fairy cabin. She works with me in Maranatha and is my perfect opposite with me tall and blond and her short and brown hair <3
Her cabin is a little bit in the middle of nowhere in the Hinterland of the Sunshine Coast.
The weekend we chilled out at the creek and river you can see in the first picture.
On Monday morning we had the first fun activity and went horse riding for the whole morning. Our horses were awesome mine was Ash and Rina's was Opal.
Tuesday was a full on day because we went to a Yoga class in Maroochydore in the morning which is an hour drive from Conondale where she lives.
Because her waterpump isn't set up yet we couldn't have a shower so we went for a swim in Mooloolaba.
We thought we would relax in the afternoon but Matt another friend from work took us climbing in Tinbeerwah near Eumandi.
He himself just secured us while we were climbing so he had earned himself a piece of brownie.
It's always an amazing feeling to make itto the top and enjoy the view over the area.
And abseiling down afterwards can be quite funny as well.
I had the climbing shoes on that John gave to me last year and they helped me a lot.
While Rina and I just occasionally rock climb, Matt does climbing since he was 14 and climbed all the mountains in the region.
After all the exercise on Tuesday we relaxed on Wednesday and went to the other house for some washing.
Thursday became the big shopping day in the Sunshine Plaza.
Later we met some friends of Rina for dinner with a stunning walk at the beach before it.
The colour of the sky changed every minute and the birds were flying passed at the right time.
Friday was another Yoga class on where we went to with the best Yoga teacher.
After a little bit of more shopping we couldn't resist to buy these perfect jumpers together. I mean it has polka dotts and is blue - it always belonged to me :).
The midday we enjoyed at the beach with beautiful sunshine and a catch up with a friend.
How to start a perfect Saturday morning?
Right you put on the red shorts which matches the red jug and the red frying pan and the whole kitchen concept, don't forget the sunnies and off you go with some delicious pancakes.
After that good treat and some early morning cleaning we dressed up for the 1920s party at a friends place.
The dress I got the other day at a op shop for $6 and the shoes for $4.
And that the world can be very small was a nice catch up with the band the go set from Melbourne that we met last summer in Germany.
The singer Justin contacted me a few month ago and told me about their gig in Brisbane and set me on the guestlist.
We were lucky because we had to drive there after the dress up party so we couldn't be there before 10, an they started playin at 11.
The concert was great and a lot of dancing so it was lovely to hang out with the guys a little bit longer.
Last Sunday we wanted to go to the Peregian Originials but it wasn't on that weekend so we just had a coffee with Matt and his girlfriend. This Sunday we knew it was on but it had been cancelled because of a cyclone up north.
The plan B was the factory with some live music were we came together with Nathan and his girlfriend Kristen.
The factory is a quite new place in the plaza with the coolest bartender outfits ever. They have a rock sophisticated style and everyday something different.
Good Sunday afternoon with Matt and Rina and Nathan and Kristen on the opposite site.
